Camera, take a look at the meters. I'll move my laptop. That's wrong. No, that didn't do anything. We find little things that can be seen by the sound people. Like today we have this whole feedback issue. So every time we were calling them, like, We had some deficiencies last week, like for some reason 2 rows, the speakers in the organ totally killed it off. For no reason. So you came in the back side. We ran through a meeting this morning. So we have the great start. But will you be there? It's so easy that way. It's not business. Right, so is the expectation of you guys— I just want to make sure we have time. We did work here. I had them do it, so these are bigger. But are these gonna be it? No, they're going to— are they gonna be great like with moss? No, they're, they're not. They are, they're flocked, but they're Bracket like this. Yes. And then it's like, so, but he made 2 sizes. So originally this was the size, and I thought it was a bit too small. So I said to him, can you— what happens if you make it a little bit larger? And this is what he came up with. Are these all the same? So these are all the same, and then these are the smaller ones, and this is the same as that one. And then we've got 2 small ones on the other side. This is that one, but that's that one. Yeah. This is too small. I agree, this is not gonna help. So you're gonna have this behind the person. That's what we do. I think so. Yeah. So I, I break something down. Oh wait, wait, that's too small. Yeah. Good. So yeah, he mocked them up because I said to him it's hard to visualize it because he only had one. And I said I just want to see how they're placed to kind of get the balance of the space. But when I saw that, I'm like, oh, there's that That makes so much more sense. Regional 1, 2, 3. City vote. Yeah. Meet you. And then this piece is going to do a blank. If there's any upgrades, one rocket and one— that's what we're talking about. Because leaving it empty is kind of like, what do you do with that? So you're saying it's going to be just all this? It'll just be black? Just be black. Yeah. Okay. No. No, I thought it was just going to be nothing. Oh, it's going to be nothing. There's no one sitting there. But you're saying you'd rather have them install them all at one time and then just leave this black? Yeah. Great. So this one here, what color would you say that is? The background is black. You know what, it doesn't look that harsh, which is nice. A little softer than black, which is good. It is. Yeah, I think it's the way the light hits it. We acted like it's a disaster. Do you know how many mock-ups— were you in CAD? I was blessed to get both of those. How many mock-ups we went to the op center to measure this thing to make sure it was Below the wood thing, and here they are. Aaron Dell, who comes to us from the Dell family. I told him. And I still— yeah, we're gonna do the flagpoles. They have the silver poles. He was on. Yeah. So now you hit abstain and the recorded— the electronic vote shows abstain, but it knows to calculate it as a no vote. So it's carried because you've got— hold on, that's how it's gonna look. Oh no, it's not. That's not carried. It's not carried. Oh, that's a 1/3. That's not— yeah, that's different. But that— okay, good. So it says actually abstain by their name. Yes. So this is what you'll see after we do an electronic vote, which is replacing our recorded votes. We open the vote, they vote, we close the vote, and that goes on the screen and stays there for like 7 seconds. And that happens all the time, even if nobody asks for a recorded vote. That's how it happens. Only when they ask for a recorded vote. And so they don't literally talk, they just push the button. That's right. Yeah, and the machine has— see right here? So the— there's 4 options. The plus is I vote yes, the minus is I vote no. Oh, it went away. Oh, Martin's playing with it. Yeah, so the plus is yes, the minus is no, the X is abstain. And then the weird N at the end is conflict. And so they push one of those and then it will show up there. And, um, isn't that interesting? That's gonna be so cool. Yeah, it's really great. And then at least that way then— and did he confirm there's a record in the back end for the recording secretary? He hasn't got that. Oh, fine. Yeah. Okay, because we were just saying it's, it's so, um, when you do a roll call, it's easy for the recording secretary to just say, here's a roll call. Because on our rights, on our minutes, we actually fill in that column with the right thing. So we'll get that sorted out. Was there any other things with the sound, the feedback? I haven't heard back anything. But, uh, I mean, as we've set it up now, that microphone is a lot more Oh yeah, they did. They made this microphone here for inaugural much more sensitive, so at least you don't have to be too close. Oh, that's good. Do you train council on how to use this and staff? So we're going to give them that run-through in the morning of the inaugural, just to push that new push-to-speak, because that's all they do at night. But it's that date, that December 1st date, where we go through a full run-through of the system. And that's on the agenda at some point. Yeah, it's at the very end of the day where they stick around. Yes. Yeah. And then for staff, I know it's just a problem, I understand. Yeah, exactly. We're just talking. We're never voting, so it's just a fun talk. Staff have the ability to turn on their mic regardless. Everyone else in this room has to speak, including the delegation. So I don't need— or anyone doesn't need the mayor to allow them to speak. They can speak at any point. So I guess when we're here for the inaugural, us on Monday, Tuesday for the presentation slide deck. Thank you. We can just show them. Yeah, exactly, because it's just super easy pushing the button. Very good. So I mean, I'm saying I feel like we're like 85% there. I think so. There's just a few little things. Absolutely. But we can run. Yeah, but the bulk of it is going to happen with my team. Setting up and making sure, and then also running council is the hardest because we have the most things happening. At the beginning. So they'll be toggling through. They've got to wrap up Canada. Um, you got to do a bunch of those things. Then when they get into the meeting and they start doing business, then it's all them, right? They're pushing buttons, they're requesting to speak. He's going to be familiar with the exact touch panel. Yeah. Oh, that's good. So I have to go through— we've done a couple subtle differences for the region because we had this We'll go through that with him. I think he needs a little bit of a larger tutorial, but I can sit with him and do that anytime. So we are getting there. The other one. Okay, okay guys, thank you so much. I'm gonna let them know about those nameplates. Okay, okay, sounds good. Okay, have a good weekend. Yeah, you too. Oh, I'm, I'm fine with you being here. for the acceptance. So like, what, what was the communication from the counselor? Like, yeah, in person, like, it has to be a change or a request or whatever it is. And I was like, that's interesting. That's great, amazing, but he made it sound like it was impossible. Okay. So I will follow up with him. Tracking on Facebook and BlackHams. Oh good, so you will be able to see it. Well, it only shows like 4 in favor, 4 no. It only shows you like the counts. You couldn't get that abstain sorted is like, I think a lot of the way matters are voted is like if you don't vote, it's the same. That's what the city was saying. But they picked to be able to see. I know, and it's different because to me it's like members present and voting is how our bylaws written. everything. So if you're not in your seat, you're not present. Right, remember, because it says member has to be in their seat. So I don't think we can do that. I, I will not. It's not something that I want— that I want to put up in the bylaw. There's other things to tweak in that bylaw, but I don't think that's one of them. I think like It gets tripped and it's frustrating. If you're not receiving nothing You're not here. You don't even come to our stuff. For 2/3. And also would refer a 1/3 vote. Well, the guy that came in with these signs today, Adrian, was he— did he say anything about getting back to him, or was he reaching out? Or I thought he said he was just seen anything. So, okay, I'll just email Arissa and tell her that Marissa and I have both looked at it. We like the larger ones. Yeah. Okay, I'm gonna go upstairs and speak to Ramali because she's headed off. holiday next week, so just want to make sure it was good. Okay, okay, sounds good. Thank you very much, Andy. Yeah, I see. I just want to see if there's another game. She's like, oh my gosh, how did he do it? And I said, magic, I guess. And then the other side of the house. It looks like it's got to be properly oriented. Yeah, because I was gonna say there must be a way. If we're using the sound of his palate to do that. So yeah, anyways, that's very encouraging. That was a major issue that we've been dealing with. Right. So when I pull a report, like you're talking about, like in the portal, like that reports thing. So I go into the report and I see It pulls like this many yes votes, this many no votes. Whatever, but it doesn't show you who voted which way. Is there a way for that information to be in the report? Maybe I assume it's a template issue on the back end. And we don't get calls back. It doesn't sound like nothing. And so the results, like if we were to go back to a meeting that took place, should you be able to go back to that vote? Within MBI and chambers. Okay, that's what I thought. Yeah, we couldn't replicate that. Okay, so I got one here. Who's considered all? Oh, okay, so all the other ones after that seem to So I've got to figure out why, and I can't get any help now on it because my guys are all gone right after work. It's gotta be something. Just— or is it something like, is it working for meetings that are templated based on an Excel spreadsheet rather than what I built up? No, it shouldn't be anything like that. Okay. Because that's the only difference I can think of. My channel's always up. So it's— I, I just— I was looking at it now. It's actually not every agenda item, but I noticed when you get down to, um, Delegations. Yeah, these start dates. What's this? Uh, trade one. Which is cool. If it's possible, because like, so for 8/1, that's a single delegate, and theoretically for delegations we want that it But 8.2, if we have a group, it would be nice to have group automatically come on when we start that item because it's kind of a very quick turnaround. Drag someone to their seat. Whatever, it's one less thing for me to do if it's possible. But I don't know really what caused that or if that's even preset. Specified on that one. Interesting. What do you mean by specified? So we have a switch type profile. So like in those 5M and 10M speech profiles, yeah. Like, obviously the slide won't open, my friend. There might be something there that I don't know about. Because that would be— so that'd be kind of cool if it did work for individuals. That's exciting. That's fun. Because in our use case, we're going to have to— the operator will have to turn it off. Oh, and even if you go to another agenda item, it doesn't turn off. But once you turn it off once, it won't turn on again. Unless you have that speech timer. Oh, and you know what? If you, if you applied that to 5M, yeah, that all of these items have 5M, and the reason why is because we want the mayor to— so actually, that's where my mind was going. If we had like a 5-minute or a 5M auto, which would be what if you've just set it to And just leave the 5M. Because what we would want is each agenda item that council is just speaking to and it has to have a debate on We want the chair to activate. speech timers. At the right time during that discussion. It wouldn't be automatic. But then for delegates, for individual delegates, we'd like to probably select 5 and auto. That one, we start that again. And same over here, 5 and auto. That would be great. That's right, but we would probably want a 10M auto as well because then the 10M auto would be an automatic 10 Minute speech timer. So that would be the one that moves each time activated. Because that'd be the only use case for us for timing. Yes. And it's just 10 minutes to the public. Well, now you can start this. So yeah, uh, in the current agenda, I would probably put 8.1 as 5M auto. Okay, individual looks right, but if you go back to— oh, is the public in this meeting? It's a different meeting for before. It'll work. So then once they're seated, yeah, then their speech time. Items, because that's what I was worried about today. The individual speech time. It's 4 minutes. Okay, it's 5 minutes for that. It's— no, it's right. I just, I stopped for a minute. Yeah. Stop things up. That's right. Okay. That's good. All right, now let's go back to the agenda. Okay, in our place, nothing happens. Before nothing happens. You know, it should only really be set for It should only be set for 8.1 and 8.2. It was just 8.1 packages. Yeah. Now it turns back left and we're back at No, that's great. That is perfect. When you said the group time automatically starts and you asked me if it applied to the public group, It also applies to council as well. Okay, so then did— why did you— when you asked me before about the public group, what were you specifying? I mean, the only reason I asked is because it would really never apply to council during that delegation time. Like, what I'm going to have to do is after the 10 minutes have elapsed, I will have to turn off group speech timers. admin operations, which is fine. But if it didn't apply to members of council at that group, that would be ideal because then it wouldn't really Well, I guess it's still deactivated, but it just leaves less room for error, I guess. I'm just trying to think through this. I'm like, oh God, what is happening? Like, And it was a problem. He's not set at 0 minutes. I can't turn them off. Sorry. Oh, look at that once. Oh my gosh, eureka! But that's— and that's just for the tenant auto. That's amazing. Oh my gosh, Martin, this is crazy. You're making my dreams come true. This is like way too amazing for a Friday. Yeah, this is the package. Oh my gosh, it even does it. Is this 5M auto too? Oh my gosh. Great, because then we don't have to like— we don't have to like struggle to like remember to deactivate. Once they start the Q&A with the members of council. Oh. You just made my life so much simpler. I was getting stressed out about those transitions. This is amazing. Okay. Oh, okay. So stop, like I said, you want to make sure it's always okay. Uh, well, it's, it's 5 for the whole meeting, but they're not automatically activated. When you do activate, when you, when you, or when you do activate activate them. Everybody is fine to have this. This is science. I practice into that box that was actually red. Yes. Group is showing 5 minutes for. Yeah, ideally it would just— ideally the auto ones could apply just to the public board. Start on creation. They don't. That's still correct. Right, because that would be creating something. Yeah, stratify them. That's fine. And pumping is fine. You should do exactly the same. That looks right. So yeah, cancel. Has nothing, and the public has 5 minutes. Yeah. Group activates its 10 minutes for any public. Yes, that looks right. Oh my gosh. What was the flash red? Well, we were wondering, we're trying to figure it out. We think we have our theories that it has to do with the speech timer when it's down to about 1 minute. And it starts flashing red. But I, I just don't know if the EU has a set idea or understanding of how that group works. Amazing pictures. So that's like a Bosch question. Like, I have to look up that. Not at all. Okay, that's not really urgent. We just— it's more of a curiosity thing. I see. Yeah, I don't know. I was like, I don't know if it's the software, but we also have some outstanding audio issues in the chambers now, so we're gonna have to access it. That is, uh, that's— that's okay. On the audio processors that are easily taken care of on the QSC. I can— so, and to be honest with you, I can add echo cancelers to the That's true. Okay, so that's a— that's an ask for Sasha to— for echo canceling. Echo cancelers. So that's definitely— and I'm responding to your email, by the way. Okay. Okay, so it'd be echo canceling. So with the session I just set up, because I was, I was surprised when Ramali was saying that What Ramali was saying, that she's hearing herself speak, I'm like, well, that shouldn't be. True. So is that something like— is that like Sasha like restricting a certain output or something? Like, I don't know how he's gonna manage that. I always invite Sasha to do something when it gets over, so that's, that's good. Otherwise, there's no other issues. Where is my hands? Yeah, I'm super happy with that. You're gonna— oh. One more thing about the slides, but it's gonna be done today. I'll respond to your, your slides email. There's just one more swap out because Susan didn't like the in-camera slides, so just that one has to be swapped out. And I think I miscommunicated, um, I miscommunicated. So the scheduled start date and start time, um, I don't want like that text to be there. I just want the date and the time. So we just didn't want to say scheduled start date and time. But we want, we want the feel to be there, if that makes sense. I am so sorry. I'm so picky. But okay. Yeah, she didn't like the pink, and that's perfectly fine. So she— I sent her another one. We kept the background the same kind of vague green. And she wants, um, so actually I have that image here. She just said yes to it. So she wanted She wanted red text. Instead of— I like Um. That's a great question. Probably, yes. So I'm going to respond. So let's see. Here is the final in-camera slide. Um, well, because initially Susan's like, yeah, I honestly don't care. And I was like, okay, so then I just did my own thing, and today she cares, so It's, uh, it's great. And then, um, and we also don't want the Oh, that's already done. Oh, okay. The graphic has just been sent, but it'll be there in about 6 or 7 seconds. Oh, Jenny just walked in. Sorry. Hey, Jenny. Hey. I'm a broadcaster there. Okay, I'll, uh, I'll be careful what I say. I don't know if the sound's on. Oh, okay, okay. Thanks for the heads up. All right, I'll see you on Monday. Yes. Okay. Bye. Bye. Okay, did you get my email? Oh, it's probably— it is. It does say sent at 4:42, but maybe it's just— I, I, I just was okay.
